Libraries Hold More Than Books

Medina County Library

🌿 “Sitting in the Library Where My Book Will Soon Live”

Today I found myself sitting quietly in the Medina County Library — the same library that is processing two physical copies of my book. I opened my laptop, checked my author dashboard, and saw two more sales appear on Amazon. For a moment, I just sat still and smiled.

It’s easy to get caught up in the how long or the what next — but today, I felt the peace of simply being present where something is growing. I’m surrounded by shelves of stories, and soon, mine will be among them. That thought makes me feel deeply connected — not just to this space, but to everyone who has ever dared to plant a creative seed and wait for it to bloom.

The waiting isn’t wasted. It’s part of the process. Just like a seed takes time to push through the soil, books (and dreams) often take time to find their place. So if you’re waiting on something right now — a door to open, a project to grow, a prayer to be answered — stay faithful. Your roots are doing their work, even underground.

All praise to God for helping me do the work of asking, trusting, and growing. 🌱
