From the moment guests walked in, the energy was unmistakable. Tables lined with grow bags, seed markers, and fresh soil were more than just garden prep—they were invitations.

Every hand that touched the soil became part of something bigger. Kids and adults alike planted tomatoes, herbs, and leafy greens, learning how to nurture life from the ground up. Even more powerful? Watching people learn together. Neighbors. Strangers. Friends in the making.

“There’s just something healing about planting,” one attendee said. “You leave lighter than you came.”

📚 Learning with Roots

Led by our founder, Eileen Mills, the event blended gardening education with practical life takeaways. Through fun, interactive demonstrations—like root veggie talks and container gardening tips—Eileen shared more than know-how. She shared why we grow.

“Every garden tells a story,” she said. “And every person carries seeds inside them—of purpose, healing, and faith.”

Our youngest guests loved decorating their grow bags, while older ones got to dive into the rhythms of watering, feeding, and pruning—all while connecting those practices to our everyday lives.

The biggest win of the day? Community. People lingered. Conversations blossomed. Some stayed long after the last seed was sown, swapping stories and encouragement.
